Hi, I'm Chelly
I've been the owner of Midwest Coin & Collectibles since January 2008 – over 18 years of buying gold, silver, coins, diamonds, costume jewelry, comic books, baseball cards, antiques, and other collectibles throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro. I'm licensed, bonded, and insured, and I'm happy to make house calls for larger collections.
Before starting Midwest Coin, I spent nearly five years as the Woodbury Store Manager at Gold Guys, where I recruited, hired, and trained dozens of employees. As a buyer, I purchased over $1,000,000 in precious metals, coins, and diamonds – plus antiques, collectibles, and graded coins. That experience gave me the expertise and confidence to run my own shop and serve customers with fairness and respect.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in American Sign Language Studies from the University of Minnesota and a Certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Culture from St. Paul College. I bring that same attention to clear communication and genuine care to every transaction at Midwest Coin.
